Eye Shadows

Eye Shadow should be applied in the following order, first you should apply the base color, working from the inside of the lid to the outside covering the whole lid area. Use a fine brush for this with a blunt end. From the base of your eye lash work to the crease of the eyelid.

If you want your eyes to stand out more use a deeper shade to give the eyes depth. Then highlight the brow bone with a light shade, blending up to the brow and then down towards the eyelid crease. You can blend different colors to get the desired shade you like.

Test the colors on the back of your hand before applying them to your lids.

  • Eye liners

  • When using an eye liner you will need a steady hand. Rest your elbow on something to help with stability. Test the eye liner on the back of your hand to get a feel for the amount of pressure you will need before you apply it to your eye. Keep an even smooth stroke when applying and work from the inside to the outside corner of your eye. You can use a soft cloth to lighten or clear smudges if needed.
